The project ‘’St. Petersburg video conferencing-regions of Russia took off. The first participants became children in Arhangelsk.

Yesterday within the limits of the development of inter-regional collaboration, took off the project for conducting the series of video conferencing ‘’St. Petersburg video conferencing-regions of Russia’’. It became possible to hold it with the support of the Community of the External Connections of the government of St. Petersburg, government of Arhangelsk area and UMVD of Russia of Arhangelsk area. One of the initiators of the project is a member of the Public Council of the UMVD of Russia in Arhangelsk area, General Director of the company ‘’Strategy’’ (St. Petersburg) Olga Kozlova.
The technological partner of the project became company ‘’Elisa Russia’’.

This project had been directed to the patriotic upbringing of the children and young people to the development of their inner-moral and social values. The famous native and foreign politicians,  scientists, representatives of culture and arts, movie and stage stars, clergymen, the best employees of law enforcement agencies and sportsmen. They will hold the open lessons for the Russian school children in the different areas of the country. All the meetings will be broadcast on the Internet at the same time.

Arhangelsk is the first region which became the participant in the project. Yesterday in the capital of Pomorie took place video conferencing with the famous actor of Russia, Sergei Selin, known by many people as a policeman Dukalis in the TV serial ‘’Streets of the Broken Lights’’ and ‘’Opera’’. Being on line Sergei Andreevich got into conversation with the children of those employees of the Law Enforcement Agencies which were perished during their official duties also he had a talk with the students of cadets class GIBDD of general education secondary school of Arhangelsk.

At the beginning of the meeting Sergei Selin congratulated children with the first day of winter then he told them briefly about his career. The famous actor of Russia made his mind about his profession being only five years old so he gave children the advice to try themselves in acting as if it is not essential for everybody to be actors considers Sergei Andreevich. There are plenty of worthwhile professions such as: steel founder, engineer, scientist, and astronaut but for the girls the main thing is to be a mummy.
But for the children it wasn’t enough. Everyone prepared his own question for the famous actor. Children were interested in different details the Sergei’s Selin life: his school years, favourite roles. The young Arhangeliters became interested: what does mean for the famous Dukalis the conception ‘’men’s friendship’’, what the main values in the life and even how does he ménage to learn all the texts of his roles by heart.

Pavel Vasilenko asked about the difference between a policeman in the movie and a policeman in the reality. ’’The policemen have more difficulties in today’s real life then the movie’s characters,- believes Sergei Andreevich,- one of the reasons is  we have readymade scripts, but the story of the real policeman should never been written on the paper. His story is instantaneous, happens suddenly and the reaction on it can be different at any moment’’.

‘’Do you have the policeman certificate?’’- asked Daniela Znurova. The answer was that not even the one only (the Policeman of Honour of Krymia, Moldova and Estonia). Daniela asked to clarify how the actor got them. Sergei Andreevich assured her that those certificates are not the real ones but just the sign of gratitude for the roles he played.
It is very hard to reproduce those artistic skills and emotions which have been shown by the famous actor in the communication with the children from Arhangelsk. Children listened attentively to all ideas which came out and took some of them into account. For example Andrei Byrkov - the son of Andrei Byrkov the employee of the Internal Affairs Department who was perished during his official duties in 2005 - decided to study seriously the foreign languages following by Sergei Selin’s advice.

It was admitted by Sergei Selin and the organisers of the video conferencing that the best question was Victoria Kononova’s one. ‘What does it mean in your opinion to be a person of honour?’’ It had a very impotent meaning for the girl. Victoria’s father Dmitri Kononov perished like a hero during special duty in Gudermes city in 2000. He rescued his four friends at the cost of his own life.
‘’For me the word honour means to serve honestly my duties, my country, the law, my Motherland,- answered Sergei Selin,- and so long as you are still young in your opinion the word ‘honour’ does probably mean: to study honestly, to be honest with your friends and honestly love your nearest and dearest ones, be honest to your Motherland, to love your native town and your parents’’. Victoria is going to receive the present from the organizers the book about the history of St. Petersburg with the autograph of Sergei Selin.

‘’I liked the candour of Sergei Selin,- said Victoria Kononova,- it looks amazingly when the stars are communicating with the children in this particular way’’.
At the end of the meeting Sergei Andreevich turned to his colleague – the member of Public Council at UMVD of Arhangelsk area, the President of council of Arhangelsk regional public organisation ‘’Regeneration of Russian Culture’’ – Margarita Selkova who attended the video conferencing as well. Sergei Selin told that he himself is the President of Public Council in Voronez area. This is a very noble business because we help the public and the police think the Merit Actor of Russia.
