History of the Company
1999
Elisa Russia established a subsidiary in St. Petersburg. The objective of the new company was to support Elisa's
clients and partners in Russia and the CIS.
Elisa developed its operations in Russia along with the development of the Russian telecommunications market.
2006
The company obtained a number of licences for:
- telematic telecommunication service,
- telecommunication service for data transmission,
- services of granting of communication channels,
- telecommunication service for data transmission for voice.
Operation through Elisa Russia provided Elisa's customers with more convenient service in Russia.
2007
Elisa Russia obtained the licence for confidential information
protection. It enabled the company to provide new security services.
The rapid development of Russian market, the continued high demand on innovative ICT solutions in Russia along with Elisa's world-wide IT and telecom experience have lead the company’s management to the decision to develop further business in Russia.
2008
New projects in Russia started
- Elisa offers new solutions for more effective work of call centres in Russian market
- 300 % increase of local personnel
- New perspectives in partnership with leading software vendors
- Elisa Russia shares all common Elisa values.
2009
- Elisa Russia offers new solution “Quick implementation of Microsoft Dynamics CRM system”
2010
- Elisa Russia offers virtual office service to market
2011
- Elisa Russia launches Network Infrastructuring business line
